Iron and old wood in Saugus, Massachusetts. This was captured at the Saugus Iron Works National Park. This park features several old mills, blacksmithing and forges. I enjoyed shooting at this site for several reasons - the subject matter was perfect for my interests as it featured weathered wood and rustic iron. But it was also a national park, seldom visited. It was a great experience and I look forward to returning. Found in Saugus, MA

Thank you for taking a moment to explore my artwork. I live and work in Maine. With my camera, I travel throughout the state and New England exploring seaside towns and seeking out elements that spark inspiration and interest. Here you will find two things: First, collections of my photographical interests. These include exploring the unseen or often overlooked details within our built environment with a focus on iron, wood and the sea. Generally, I seek to capture the beauty and interest in the small things - the parts rather than the whole.
